HEALTH TESTS
Testing orders are available to everyone. You do NOT need to be a current patient to purchase tests.
You will be asked to fill out a patient form at checkout which will give us more information on your current diet and lifestyle, health concerns, current medications and supplement intake.
If you wish to purchase multiple tests for people in the same household please add quantity as 1 for each test so that individual patient forms can be completed. You can keep adding multiple tests to the same basket as long as patients reside at the same address. For multiple tests for the same patient you only need to complete the patient form once.
We work with a number of labs across the world including : Doctor’s Data Inc, Great Plains / Mosaic Laboratory, The London Clinic, Lifecode GX, The Doctors Laboratory, QuinTron, Precision Analytical, Immunosciences Labs & Verisana. Delivery is now available internationally, select your country at checkout. UK orders received by 2pm Mon-Fri are normally shipped via Royal Mail or courier service the same day.

With the Estrogen Test we use 3 saliva samples to meassure:
1.) Estradiol (1x)
2.) Progesterone (1x)
3.) Estrogen/ progesterone ratio
Estradiol is the most effective estrogen and the most important female hormone. A deficiency can lead to various complaints, such as weight gain, water retention, or painful menstruation.

Estrogen values tend to fluctuate throughout a woman’s lifetime. The strength of these fluctuations is different for each individual and the body reacts to them with different symptoms.
Both an estrogen dominance and an estrogen deficiency can occur. This is due to the fine, coordinated balance between estrogen and progesterone. The estrogen levels define how much progesterone is needed. An estrogen dominance can occur if the body is not producing enough progesterone for the level of estrogen. Therefore, in the case of an estrogen deficiency it is important to not only determine the absolute values of the individual hormones, but also the ratio of estrogen to progesterone.
The test analyses the morning value of the following hormones:
Estradiol
Progesterone
This Estrogen Test gives you information about the ratio of estrogen to progesterone in your body. This may allow you to identify the underlying cause for your complaints.

Progesterone is produced by the ovaries shortly after ovulation in order to prepare the uterus for a possible pregnancy and to protect the mucous lining of the uterus. Together with Estrogen, the most important of the female sex hormones, progesterone regulates the menstrual cycle.
How does it work?
You collect the samples at home, send them back to the labs and they will provide you with your level of each hormone and whether your level falls within the reference ranges for your age. In addition to that the results include graphs showing whether your levels are in the “green” (=normal/healthy) or “red” (=too high/low) area, making it easy to understand the results. Results take approximately 2 weeks and our health team will provide advice on your results via email with support on increasing or decreasing levels as appropriate.
