CardioMetabolic - Doctors Data Labs - Full Blood Test

CardioMetabolic - Doctors Data Labs - Full Blood Test
The CardioMetabolic - Doctors Data Labs - Full Blood Test evaluates your hidden risks for cardiovascular disease (CVD), stroke, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic syndrome (atherogenic lipoproteins, apolipoproteins, arterial inflammation)
✅ Measures specific enzymes (like PLAC activity) to identify whether fat build-ups in your arteries are stable
✅ Looks past standard LDL ("bad") cholesterol to evaluate the exact number, sizing, and specific types of apolipoprotein particles (like ApoB) travelling through your blood.
✅ Measures whether your cholesterol has reacted with oxygen, which is a sensitive early marker for active arterial damage and atherosclerosis.
DELIVERY AVAILABLE UK ONLY
You will be asked to fill out a patient form at checkout which will give us more information on your symptoms, current medications and supplement intake.

This comprehensive test offers an advanced evaluation of cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors and metabolic indicators linked to metabolic syndrome and type II diabetes. It provides a detailed analysis of atherogenic lipoprotein sub-species, apolipoproteins, arterial inflammation, and lipoprotein-associated phospholipase-A2 (PLAC) activity, enabling sensitive detection of active atherogenesis and plaque instability. Cystatin C offers a precise assessment of glomerular filtration, enhancing the evaluation of kidney function. 1,5-anhydroglucitol (Glycomark®) serves as a superior indicator of hyperglycemic episodes, complementing HbA1C for a more dynamic view of glucose control. Homocysteine is measured due to its role in cardiovascular health, as elevated levels are associated with endothelial dysfunction and increased risk of thrombotic events. Additionally, the test examines primary adipokines integral to insulin sensitivity and hepatic fatty acid metabolism, providing a holistic perspective on metabolic dysfunction and its broader impact on health.
This test requires a full blood sample which is NOT included in your test cost. If you require assistance finding a phlebotomist in your area that can centrifuge a sample - please use this link once you have purchased.
