Testing orders are available to everyone. You do NOT need to be a current patient to purchase tests.
You will be asked to fill out a patient form at checkout which will give us more information on your current diet and lifestyle, health concerns, current medications and supplement intake.
If you wish to purchase multiple tests for people in the same household please add quantity as 1 for each test so that individual patient forms can be completed. You can keep adding multiple tests to the same basket as long as patients reside at the same address. For multiple tests for the same patient you only need to complete the patient form once.

A complete urinary amino acid (AA) analysis can be performed whenever a thorough nutritional and metabolic workup is called for. The test provides fundamental information about nutrient adequacy, including the quality and quantity of dietary protein, digestive disorders, and vitamin and mineral deficiencies—particularly folic acid, B12, B6 metabolism, zinc and magnesium. In addition, amino acid analysis provides important diagnostic information about hepatic and renal function, availability of precursors of neurotransmitters, detoxification capacity, susceptibility to occlusive arterial disease (homocysteine), and many inherent disorders in amino acid metabolism. Plasma is traditionally used to assess the status of essential AA however urine analysis provides more information regarding AA wasting and aberrant metabolism associated with co-factor insufficiencies. This test may be useful for ADHD, ADD, ASD, cardiovascular disease, depression, anxiety, digestive disorders, epilepsy, fatigue, hypertension, infertility, insomnia, kidney function, rheumatoid arthritis and nutritional deficiencies.
TURNAROUND TIME: APPROX 12 WORKING DAYS
The patient's results are presented in a functional format that permits ease of interpretation. A comprehensive summary of "presumptive needs" (such as B6, B12/folate, Mg) and "implied conditions" (such as maldigestion/malabsorption, abnormal gastrointestinal flora, impaired detoxification, oxidative stress) are presented based upon each patient's results. Patient-specific amino acid supplement schedules and user-friendly commentary are provided to simplify nutritional intervention. This is an excellent test if you require a general health check.
